When I originally set Lovely as a Tree up in 2008, there was very little information to help graphic designers commission less environmentally damaging paper and print. I researched, and designed a website to enable designers to easily find environmentally friendlier papers and printers.
The Printfinder enabled designers to search for printers that met a strict environmental criteria. The Paperfinder enabled designers to search for recycled and FSC papers by paper type, environmental criteria and colour.
The website became a recognised source of good information and was endorsed by WWF.
Also shown is some publicity for both Lovely as a Tree and its sister organisation, Three Trees Don't Make a Forest (no longer running) which Nat Hunter, Sophie Thomas and I set up in 2009.
